Ganni Repeat project with its collaboration with Levi’s which were represented this August in Copenhagen pushes to mass the idea to rent out the denim pieces for a low-impact, environmentally conscious fashion experience. Currently, this program covers Europe and USA, but growing. For its production, only vintage Levi’s 501 jeans were used with GANNI’s signature design. And for the delivery is using recycled RePack material, and the things themselves are thoroughly cleaned in accordance with environmental standards, for the next possible rent. Together with Ganni many brands start to promote use over ownership. By leasing clothes and recycling or upcycling the materials, we move to a circular economy in the fashion industry. Except for brands itself, many online platforms appeared during the last few years, where you can rent a specific brand, in a specific city, for a specific occasion. It’s setting the standard for what fashion could look like in the future.
